Just got home from visiting with Mom. She was off to therapy with Jim when I left. Rachel brought her a cheeseburger and I shared my fries with her. She ate almost all the cheeseburger and all her fries. When the girl came in for her dinner order, she was excited about having pizza as she said it was really good the last time. I talked to Liz the case manager for ahile. She said Mom is making progress toward her goals and still has more progress to make. She also said that walking was not one of the goals at HealthSouth. She had put in the paperwork for approval of another week from insurance. Mom was a bit worried about going home in her condition and in a wheelchair. If the time comes for a decision, then it may be that she would be moved to sub acute care if she was not able to go home. The gap between where she is and what her goals are has to be large enough to warrant acute care. She is making progress and she still has some goals to meet. That's it for now.

Heart healthy or not, I am proud of you for eating Gramma! Besides, it's a flavor you can savor.
