I just spoke with mom, she had a bit of a tough day and said that they tried to give her meds while she was in therapy again and she told them no. She was feeling very sick to her stomach and had to go back to her room. When she was sitting in her wheelchair, she began having some trembling and pain and realized these were the same symptoms she had when they put her on the anti-anxiety meds at the hospital. The nurse was just outside her door and mom called her in and asked for her dose of the anti-anxiety medication. Mom said she felt better right away, so decided she was not ready to go off of that medication yet. She knows it is going to be hard to know which meds she needs and which ones she doesn't. She sounded a bit tired, but that is pretty normal after such a busy day. The result of the hip x-ray is not back yet.
That's it for now. I read her the comments from the blog and she really really enjoyed them. Please continue to post - especially since her visitors will begin decreasing now that most of the out of town family has gone home. Thankfully Jim, Debbie and Cindy are still there and will rotate visitations (Rachel & kids are there too) -I am not sure if Bethy and Jeff have gone back home yet.
Until next time......
Keep up the good work on your therapy. I would imagine it is very hard, but you can do it. Every little improvement takes you one step closer to getting better and one step farther from where you were.
