Wednesday

Went with Mom and Jim to therapy this morning. Mom knew the therapist from Health South. She did an evaluation of her muscle strength and physical abilities. They will start the therapy on Monday. She will go into the pool for part of her therapy. It is a small pool, but about 4 feet deep. There is a chair that Mom will have to get into then they lower her into the water. The water is very warm, which I hope will also help her. I think she said they keep it at about 95. After two difficult struggles to get mom into the car from the wheelchair, I convinced Jim to go get her a slide board. So they stopped and got one on the way to the bank. There was no notary there today, so they will have to go back another day for whatever they needed a notary for. I will be picking up a copy of Mom's records as soon as they are done from Health South and then will fax them to Doctor Lightner. The Home Care Nurse will be going out to the house tomorrow.
