Just got back from Mom's house. Rachel and I and the kids went over for a little while. She seems to be in good spirits and doing fairly well. Jim is writing down the pills he gives her that are not the regularly scheduled ones. I took over another pill box to put her pain meds in. Even though they are taken when she wants them, at least now she can see if she is able to take any or if she already took all her doses for the day. I was glad to see that she is starting to remember things much more clearly. She has papers for both rehab places to request records, but is waiting to see if she is able to get Dr. Nelson as a doctor and then have records go to him also. I encouraged her to use her walker to pull herself up as much as possible. SHe is not getting any therapy which means she is regressing in her muscle strength. Although her upper body strength is good. She said she did some housework and wheeled herself into the bathroom to brush her hair and teeth and stuff like that. I think it helps that she is able to do things like that.
That is it for now.

Awesome news Deb. I sent her a list of some basic range of motion exercises to do until she can get some rehab. She promised to print them off in the morning and have Jim help her with them. Hopefully tomorrow will be a good day with some good news regarding care.
