Friday

Just got home. When I arrived at Health South, Mom was all packed. She was in a very good mood and looking forward to the move. The transport was a little late but, now she is all moved in to her room. It is a large room and very nice. Everything is brand new, and they are still working out some logistical stuff. The cafeteria lady had come to get her preferences for meals already. The activity director will come by to talk to her later today. They even have church services on Sunday and a few other times during the week. The therapist will evaluate her sometime today also. They gave her a temporary wheelchair until therapy gets her one. She has a loveseat and recliner as well as a coffee table. Lots of floor space. She was making plans for Cindy to come see her and have the kids do their schoolwork there. She also told me I could come and do some scrapbooking with her. She has her own phone which I forgot to write the number of. She is in room 4. She had mail waiting for her! Maureen sent her a package of chocolates. She of course ate one right away. They were Giardelli Dark Chocolate with Raspberry. The facility gices each person a welcome basket and it was really nice. I small suede lined basket filled with things like body spray, body cream, and other things. So that is the news for now.
