A New Plan....

Well, the plans seem to change from hour to hour, but I think we like this new one - rather than see a neurologist in the small town of Elizabethtown (limited doctor care), we are going to try and get mom to see the neurologist she was seeing in Lexington at UK.  Dr. Nelsen is a world renowned neurologist, is a network provider under her insurance, and is taking new patients according to the insurance website.  I will call them Monday morning to make an appointment for her to see him asap.  She has an appointment with the KORT Rehab facility in Elizabethtown to get Aquatic Therapy and PT there and set to be evaluated on Wednesday next week.  For now, that is the plan.  The only thing we are missing (according to OUR plans) is the skilled nursing for home and that we are still working on, hopefully we will know about that on Monday.  Until then, Cindy and the kids, Jim, and Debbie are holding down the fort and taking turns dealing with all of the challenges and adjustments for mom.
