Don't mind the title, it wanted one so...... Anyway, I have talked to Mom almost everyday since we left Kentucky and without exception she has been in good spirits. We have talked for quite a while each time and laughed about alot of things. She has only been a little down a few times and usually it has to do with them not getting her meds in time. She is looking forward to getting out of rehab so that she can become a drug dealer to supply other patients in various hospitals with prescription drugs. Oh, wait, I made that last part up....... When I spoke with her today, I told her that if she gets kicked out she could come here and live with us and get free 24 hr care. However, she would have to do the yard and house work for her rehab sessions. She informed me that Jeanne had also made her an offer and that she would evaluate which one was a better deal for her and let me know. Anyway, I will be talking to her again tomorrow and hopefully we will have an answer back from whoever is making all of these mistakes concerning her insurance. I would like to thank Deb, Jeanne and Cindy for staying on top of this insurance and Dr stuff. Ok, this is way too much typing for me. L8r D8's.

Nice post Mike! First I thought it was posted by our own Little Red Riding in the Hood (Debbie) since she was the child actress who played this part. Thanks for the humor, it was needed about now.
ReplyDeleteLOL, I didn't hink anyone remembered that. It was in first grade at William Orr school in Miss O'Brien's class. I remember Mom bought enough rolled candies for everyone in the class and I carried them in my basket as Little Red Riding Hood. I know what a sacrifice it was at the time for her to spend that money on the candy. But that is Mom! I all our lives she gave up things so we could have better lives and even things we did not need, just because she wanted us to have them. I guess this is our opportunity to give back. Thanks for posting Mike.
