Thanksgiving messages

Wow, it is hard to believe we are so close to Thanksgiving.  As I begin to think about the holidays and things I am thankful for, I can't help but have mom in the very forefront of my thoughts.  I am thankful today that she is doing well and that she is able to get the therapy she wants.  I am thankful that she is getting better by the day and is able to have good phone conversations, and I am thankful to have a mom who has spent so much of her life putting others first.

So, if you have anything about mom to be thankful for or a memory that brings a smile, post it here or comment here between now and Thanksgiving - I know it will mean alot to her.

Today she is at KORT for therapy, I know she is thankful for that.

  1. I am thankful that although I have trouble lifting 10 pounds of tatos at home, God gives me the miraculous strength to lift Mom whenever I need to!

  2. I am also thankful that Mom had moved close by before all this happened and that her house had not sold so we all had a place to stay in Lexington.

  3. ANother thing I am thankful for is that God has given Mom such strength of spirit through all this. I don't know how she stays in such a good mood all the time!
